Tricholab Sp z o.o. is implementing the project: "Portable 3D Scanning System Supporting Clinical Research in the Area of Pathological Changes of Skin and Hair." Project value: PLN 7,570,560.00 EU co-financing of the project: PLN 3,572,530.00
The project concerns the development of a portable and optimized 3D scanning system for the head and other body areas, intended primarily for dermatology, hair transplant surgery, and aesthetic medicine. The goal is to miniaturize the device and increase its mobility compared to current stationary scanners. As part of the work, the use of modern stereoscopic cameras is planned to obtain high-quality 3D images, create software for procedure analysis and planning, and enable patients to visualize the results. The system will undergo functional and clinical testing, and its development will take into account the needs of medical users. The technology may also find application in other fields of medicine, supporting diagnostics, procedure planning, and digitalization of healthcare services. The target group of the project includes medical facilities and specialists in the field of dermatology, hair transplant surgery, and aesthetic medicine who need mobile, precise tools for 3D scanning and analysis in diagnostics and procedure planning.
